About

Some of the best memories don’t come from expensive vacations or elaborate plans. They come from ordinary afternoons made extraordinary by someone who loved you enough to make them special.

For me, that someone was my mom.

Growing up in Utah, before Pinterest and YouTube and endless scrolling, my mom had a gift for turning regular days into something worth remembering. She’d rearrange the living room furniture into a home movie theater, use Monopoly money for the kids to purchase tickets, and set up a little tray of popcorn and fruit for her kids to enjoy. She cooked with us, crafted with us, and made every holiday feel like an event.

I grew up, had two kids of my own, and found myself wanting to do the same thing — create those moments, keep things fun and engaging, give my kids something to remember. But when I went looking for ideas, I kept running into the same problem: the recipes were in one place, the crafts were somewhere else, the supply lists were missing, and the instructions assumed you had hours to spare and a perfectly stocked craft room.

There was no one place that had everything. So naturally I shared this with my mom.

Double Batch was born out of that simple conversation.

Together, we set out to build the resource we always wished existed — a warm, practical, one-stop home for simple activities, easy recipes, affordable crafts, and hands-on fun for kids. Every idea comes with everything you need: the supplies, the steps, the tips, and even the links so you don’t have to go hunting.

We’re based in the Salt Lake Valley, where big families and busy moms are a way of life. We know firsthand how much heart our community pours into raising kids well — and we know how exhausting it can be to come up with fresh ideas week after week.

That’s what we’re here for.

Double Batch is two generations of creative moms who believe that the simplest activities are often the ones kids remember forever. You don’t need a big budget, a perfect home, or hours of prep time. You just need a little inspiration — and we’ve got plenty of that.

We’re so glad you’re here.
